News Flash! Great new yarn!!

Hey kids! Joan here with a quick news flash announcing our fantastic new hand-dyed, self striping sock yarn from Canada!! (Just try to imagine how hard it is to hand-dye these self-patterning yarns!)

This fantastic yarn, called Felix, is exclusive to our area, coming from a company called Biscotte & Cie in Quebec, and is at an introductory price of $24.99 for 100 grams/384 yds.

We have been having so much fun working up some early samples of these fun, cheerful yarns, made with the finest superwash merino (plus 20% nylon for strength). Once I made the Clownfish socks,

 I had to deck out little Snickers with a sweater from the leftovers!

Plus I made an easy baby hat, just to see what it's like in a swirly pattern:

And I'm partway done with the interesting strip-knit sock published in Knitty, here:

Also, I'm just binding off the red white & blue striped sock -- in time for July 4th!
And we'll be starting a Stephen West scarf with the semi-solids as well!
